The Journey Begins

A Texas-born, Iowa-raised, and now Minnesota-based force of nature, Hardy White is anything but your typical country artist. Known affectionately as the “Charismatic Cowboy of Music,” White seamlessly fuses country storytelling with the swagger of rock, the groove of R&B, and the soulful touch of gospel and funk. With a cowboy hat and a whole lot of charisma, he stands out in every crowd and brings a fresh, genre-defying sound to the stage.

Produced by Ryan Smith (Soul Asylum) and co-produced by Sam Roskoski, mixed by John Fields (Jonas Brothers, Pink, Miley Cyrus), with Michael Bland (Soul Asylum, Prince) on drums, “What Dem Cowboys Say” is a high-energy anthem inspired by Hardy’s own life experiences and the colorful characters he’s met along the way. In Hardy’s own words, the song captures the “feel-good vibe of a country cowboy who’s got a little rock swagger and a whole lot of soul.” It’s a track that’ll have listeners tapping their feet and feeling the energy from the first note.
